Ravilochanan- Encyclopedia on the move. A nice guy with whom I had some very interesting discussions on various topics. Its good to have a friend who we can talk to about topics that are generally not talked about in our usual friend circle. I admire his knowledge and inquisitive nature to dig the entire history of every subject. I am sure, he will become a Prof. one day. All the best buddy. May God give u all the opportunities to learn as much as possible.
Oh My god what a genius this guy is,, i can never forget the Bhagwat Geeta Lessons Which he thought for my entire life ,, An amazing personality ,, The Encyclopedia of History and a Bookworm.
This guy values books more than anything else
The kind of knowledge of any religion which he has is superb ,,his acuman on economics,history,geography cant be challanged.
Learned a lot of learnings about life from him and was a pleasure to be his neighbour
i had a friend similar to him during engineering days....and when me n Ravi first became friends here at IMNU, i saw this uncanny resemblence to my earlier friend...he's very knowledgable, a humble guy...knows a lot about other things as well which he keeps secret from most of the batch...he he he...don't worry ravi, won't spill out any beans...all the best!
Ravi..The Einstein of our batch...Ask him any topic/subject/issue related to academics or GK, ....no need to search on wiki...He is infact master of wiki... he is very cooperative person and deserves to b in Finance ministry.....

Ravi.. I sometimes get amazed how he can read that number of books. He is an encyclopedia of Indian mythology and many more subjects, always ready to help you out.. It was amazing to see how a guy can remember so many things, his rare CP's, duels with prof's will always be remembered... Have a great life ahead ...
Genius...... (First word that comes to my mind for him) He is really Einstein of our Batch. Ocean of knowledge. A man of Values. Really very very helpful. Taught us almost all subjects starting from QTM (First Term) to IF(Sixth Term). He was first one in our batch to get 100/100 in the difficult most subject like QTM. It was really interesting to listen the intellectual discussions between him and faculties in class.
Ravi is person of pure soul with great helping nature.He is the energy source of many groups and to our batch.He is genius and his presence make a correct and maximum result of anything.
Ravi is person who is not only intelligent and logical but also have great Religious Quotient, he understand all religion and decide what is right and wrong for a him and spread the same, his statement like Karma is way to God and Ignorance is Nark (Hell) and understanding of Bhagwat Geeta is awesome.
After going through fifth term I realize that how his presence make a great difference in any lecture, and due to him any boring lecture can become interesting.
Ravi is my younger brother and everyone has written about him what he is what he is not so nothing much to write.
All in All great Guy and very fond of Desi Ghee wala khana and desi Ghee ki mithayi Typical Brahman.
As we all know he has knowledge of almost all streams of studies from Commerce to law to philosophy to meta physics but he has nit knowledge of Urdu and Persian Poetry.

What else to say about this guy sabne itna kuch keh diya hai all of which is pretty true. This guy is undisputed topper of our batch but I promise if this guy joins archaeological Dept of India he can do miracles... His passion for history and fact finding are unparalleled. I had chance be part of some of the very intellectually stimulating debate with him! We are two very pretty different people but I guess that's why only our friendship bloomed!!

Being in a class with Ravi is always interesting. You never know when he might come out with a date, number, statistic or historical snippet....that would often leave the faculty speechless. Classes of IEGC pop into my head immediately. His breadth and depth of knowledge is unbelievable.
Despite all this he one of the most approachable, down to earth and helping fellow. Wish you all the luck in the world. Pratish
I met him the first day of college as he was my neighbor and became frnds that very day only.... He is the most intelligent person I would say in our batch.. He proved that with 100 in QTM-1 and by getting top rank in first term..
He is very lazy in many aspects as well... He hardly study during exams, but always among toppers... He is always lazy to attend classes, and always utilize his quota of 5 lectures in all subjects...
He is a very good teacher as well... many of us would not have cleared our economics and finance subjects without his help....
He is our beloved Platoon committee member officially as well as un-offcially coz u can always trust him to wake u up at ur desired time....
This person is ready for arguements anytime, even when he is sleeping and someone talk about some topic ralated to history, politics or economics, he will be right there for the arguements.... even in case of emails (as we all know :p)
He reads lot of books (other than MBA course) and lot of stuff on internet to keep himself updated... He is full of knowledge about various fields and its very difficult to argue against his facts and figures..
He is quite short-tempered many times and one must think before saying something to him... but still he knows how to manage relations...
Despite all he is a very good friend and one of the best persons I met in Nirma....
Ravi – “The true Rancho” of our batch.... He will never study. In fact I have never seen him studying for more than half an hour for any subject. He is live example of “Strive for excellence and success will follow”. He is one of the finest brains in IMNU.
When I first meet this guy, what I was surprised to find was the amount of self-confidence he has. I have never seen and may never see a person with such high self-esteem and confidence in my life. He can fake some facts so bluntly that one can never come to know whether he is telling the truth or lying. (Remember MSP???)
He has taught us many subjects in first year. He has unique teaching style he will rarely read before teaching anything. He will sit with you and teach you while reading the subject on the spot. He has an amazing scanning skills and I have seen reading him voluminous books in few hours.
As few of us know he is fan of Harry Potter and reads the “Harry Potter fan-fictions” almost 3-4 hours daily. He reads these fan-fictions even when studying “To reduce the complexity of the subject”.
Also he has tremendous concentration. When he is reading something he almost forgets what is going on around him. He gets involved in reading books so much so that someone can even steal his chair while he is busy reading :)
He is firm believer of Almighty and down to earth. He will always attribute his success to Almighty saying “bas unaki kripa se ho gaya” and will never take credit for what his efforts. (A True Karmayogi :) )
As everyone knows he is very passionate about History, Politics and finance, but very few would know he likes Fiction and Comedy movies. He is fan of movies like Lord of The Rings, Movies of Jim Carrey and Jab We Met and has seen these movies hundreds of times. Also he hates Romantic movies and calls them to be an “Emotional Bakar”.
Jokes apart I think he should be little more patient and I feel that he should bring little more emotions in whatever he is doing. Also he could do well to develop the sense of understanding of the emotions and liking of the person talking to him. I have seen many people getting bored due to his lectures (including me:) ). Being his roommate, I have seen him change a lot over the two years and I would wish him to be more organised as he was during the initial period.
I consider myself to be very fortunate to share room with you. I know you will be achieving great things in life and I wish u luck for your future and may your dreams and goals come true.
Ravilochanam..... The finance bond thats how everybdy knws here. I still remember the GD PI with him @ IIM-B. we got a very serious and heated argument ovr sm political issue that doshit sir has to cm out 3 times to remind us " guys exams are going on plz maintain silence".
and then when I saw him @ IMNU I knw this guy gonna rock this planet and he did the same. Quants : 100/100, and few more scores can tell u the story, how brutely he murdered innocent kids of my batch and throw them into valley of D's and F's.
a genuine friends and very divine person. A real passinate indian , knws everything about indian history, a diehard debator..:-/.
Ravi.. knowledgeable, one of the most respected guy and finest brain of our batch.. his knowledge related religion, history and finance is immense and has great depth... (cant forgot the first meeting when we had discussion on religion on the very first day of arrival).. when he speaks whole class listens.. he is helping, reliable (if he is ur grp don't worry abt assignments :P)and avid reader.. and lover of harrypotter's fanfiction ... you can find him reading the books or the fanfiction.. He is the beloved student of all the faculties except one.. He's one of the most intelligent men I have ever known in my life. His knowledge is impeccable, be it finance, science or theology. I have learnt many things from him. Many of my tasks during MBA owe their completion to him, he was ever available for any advice and solution, like a brother to me. We both share similar idealogies and have strong beliefs on some pertinent things. His heart is clear like nectar, and is ever ready to help him friends. Posseses a great appetite, satiable with desi ghee food and sweets :). He is winner in the number of comments recieved, 36 in all. Nobody is close to him :)

Being his roommate, I have seen him change a lot over the two years and I would wish him to be more organised as he was during the initial period.

ReplyDeleteI still remember the GD PI with him @ IIM-B. we got a very serious and heated argument ovr sm political issue that doshit sir has to cm out 3 times to remind us " guys exams are going on plz maintain silence".
and then when I saw him @ IMNU I knw this guy gonna rock this planet and he did the same. Quants : 100/100, and few more scores can tell u the story, how brutely he murdered innocent kids of my batch and throw them into valley of D's and F's.
a genuine friends and very divine person. A real passinate indian , knws everything about indian history, a diehard debator..:-/.

Ravi.. knowledgeable, one of the most respected guy and finest brain of our batch.. his knowledge related religion, history and finance is immense and has great depth... (cant forgot the first meeting when we had discussion on religion on the very first day of arrival)..

He's one of the most intelligent men I have ever known in my life. His knowledge is impeccable, be it finance, science or theology. I have learnt many things from him. Many of my tasks during MBA owe their completion to him, he was ever available for any advice and solution, like a brother to me. We both share similar idealogies and have strong beliefs on some pertinent things. His heart is clear like nectar, and is ever ready to help him friends. Posseses a great appetite, satiable with desi ghee food and sweets :). He is winner in the number of comments recieved, 36 in all. Nobody is close to him :)
